The Cephalexin monohydrate is an antibiotic in the class of beta-lactam group of so-called first-generation cephalosporins. It is bactericidal in vitro by inhibition of cell wall synthesis.
Capsules containing 250mg of Cephalexin.
Recommended in the treatment of the following infections:
- ENT and Respiratory Infections,
- Urinary tract infections.
Allergy to the cephalosporin group of antibiotics.
WARNINGS AND PRECAUTIONS:
The use of cephalosporins should be extremely cautious in patients with penicillin-susceptible: strict medical supervision is necessary from the first administration.
The use of cephalosporins is formally banned in subjects with a history of immediate type allergy to cephalosporins.
Pseudomembranous colitis have been reported to broad spectrum antibiotics. Stopping treatment is curative minor ailments.
In renal failure, dose adjustment according to creatinine clearance or creatinine.
DOSAGE AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
As prescribed by your doctor.
Adults: The dosage is 2 g per day in divided doses.
Infants and children: The dose is 25 to 50 mg / kg every 24 hours.
